I consider myself to be an experienced and professional, listening and empathetic Healthcare Consultant who always puts my Clients needs and requirements at the very heart of all advice given. Throughout my career always excelling, winning numerous awards.

Having always been concerned about the welfare of family and friends, as well as in a wider sense people in general, in 1998 I joined Norwich Union Healthcare, now known as Aviva, as a fresh-faced Healthcare Advisor, having a background in accountancy and sales, wanting to work in a more deemed ethical space. After a year, having proven my sales abilities, in 1999 I joined whom I considered to be the best of the smaller providers, Prime Health who were part of Standard Life Healthcare, where I flourished for the next 11 years, qualifying for each company annual incentivisation trip.

In Nov 2003, having formed Daniel Donoghue Healthcare Consultancy Ltd., I progressed from a Healthcare Consultant to a Sales Team Manager for Standard Life Healthcare, where I managed a telesales appointment generating office based in Hampshire, averaging 6 members of staff, which supported an average similar number of Consultants working to face to face appointments booked within offices and homes across Central Southern England. In 2008 during the banking crisis, I seized the opportunity in being solely responsible again as a Senior Healthcare Consultant.

In Aug 2011 I was headhunted to join SecureHealth, part of AXA PPP/Health-on-Line, with the motivation in moving in order to represent one of the U.K.’s largest P.M.I. providers, in organising client’s individual and company paid policies, whether they were already insured or not, where I again qualified for the incentivisation trip by being in the top ten/twelve producers in the company, each year for almost 9 years, until July 2020.

During the pandemic ridden year that was 2020, with the need for Healthcare having never been greater, I took the leap of faith in opening a Whole of Market Private Medical Insurance Specialist Brokerage, with Surrey Circle Health breaking into the marketplace! Having 22 years tied agent experience, having represented one of the planet’s largest insurers for the best part of the last decade, the time was right for me to offer my Clients a more Professional, Consultative review of their healthcare needs and requirements, with access to most insurer’s products in the U.K. marketplace today!
